I went to visit a friend who is currently experiencing some hardships and is staying at this B&B. When I initially Googled the address and saw the reviews, I was instantly concerned. When visiting today, I was waiting outside and called my friend on her mobile to let her know I was here. Whilst I was waiting, an extremely aggressive woman came frantically running outside, exclaiming that I was not permitted to be on the property. I tried to calmly explain the situation and that I was simply dropping off some food for my friends as they had not eaten all day (they have certain dietary requirements). However, this lady was more concerned with telling me that she had run this business for the last 50 years and continued to shriek and shout at me. She was arrogant, rude and ill-mannered. She continuously pointed at me and waved her arms in front of my face, although I was trying to adhere to social distancing measures. She went on to describe my friends son as naughty and hyper, and I had to explain that he is disabled. After seeing my friends son, I was even more concerned, as it appears that he has sustained bites on his face, which I suspect is due to the uncleanliness of the rooms (as seen on photos on Google). Unfortunately, my friend has no choice but to stay until Monday and although I am expecting a rude reply from the owner (judging from the other responses, but I would be more than happy for her to upload CCTV footage) I will be taking this further. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! UPDATE: After leaving this review, the B&B owner is threatening to take action against me for simply being honest and having freedom of speech. She also became hostile to my friend and her young son (who did nothing wrong), thus making them feel uncomfortable.
