        This place is a very well kept secret. Full of bird life and peaceful walks. Even at the weekend you don't have to worry about their being too many people to disturb the peace and quiet wether you are just wanting to take the dog out or spend a few hours fishing it's a lovely spot. I spend a lot of time fishing and it can be hard work but very rewarding if you stick at it.

        Its a nice picturesque lake with some but limited seating around its edge. There aee plenty of plaves to put a picnic blanket though, but beware that the ground around the lake can be a little boggy after rain. There are a wide selection of birds and fish in and on the lake. All in all its a lovely place to sit and take in the beauty of nature.
