First Stage Dance & Theatre Academy

Fantastic school, the teachers are excellent, they encourage all children to do their best and help them achieve their dreams. My daughters have been coming here for 9 and 7 years and absolutely love it, its like a big family. From fun classes for beginners right up to preparation for a performing arts career - it has everything. Would highly recommend!

I trained at First Stage for nearly 10 years and absolutely loved my time there. I had lots of opportunities to perform in competitions, shows and audition for professional productions. Miss Lorraine and the team are amazing and the standard of dancing and performing at the most recent show I watched was fantastic.

I started dancing at First Stage just before my 2nd birthday, I may be biased as my Mum is the Principal but without her and First Stage I would not be where I am today. First Stage has given me so many opportunities over the past 21 years from dance exams, competitions, shows and support with auditions for productions and for full time vocational training. Without First Stage I would never have gotten into my dream dance schools and colleges. It has given me the opportunity to have a career in the performing industry and for that I am forever grateful. Now I am also lucky enough to be apart of the First Stage teaching team so I can help other performers reach their full potential. First Stage caters for all and it is more than just a dance school we are a family. I couldnt recommend First Stage enough!

Whether you just want to introduce your child to dance for fun or want to become a professional performer this dance academy is the place to go. Friendly, dedicated, with outstanding training, the teachers make it fun for little ones and professional for the more serious performer. The opportunity to take exams and develop your skills in dance/ singing/drama are available for people who wish to make a career in this area. The teachers enable you to follow your dreams and guide you on your next journey to perfomance school/college etc. The academy also performs and participates in festivals around the country. I can not reccomend this dance school enough you will not be disappointed.
