Village Club, Spondon

A most sociable place to share a drink. There are several clubs in or associated with the club. If this appeals to you can get the application form at the bar. The G and Ts are rather nice. I should have mentioned it before, the guest beers are of good quality and well worth a try. Regular Saturday night entertainment of varied classifications. 26/3/2023 Spent a pleasant evening over a pint gossiping and listening to some vintage rock and roll, plus the beer was a nice guest beers.

Wouldn't let me and my wife in at the door. A woman over the intercom who was very snotty and unpleasant said you have to be sworn in by a member of the club. This place was giving me vibes of the League of gentlemen no thank you.

Live entertainment every Saturday, drinks very well priced, very friendly crowd and you can sign in if you are not a member. Three different area's to sit and you can hire a room for a private function. Full size snooker tables upstairs. Nice dance floor and very friendly bar staff. Definitely worth a visit. If you like! become a member.
