Large cemetery in chaddesden, just outside the city centre. Whilst still very much in use the original area dates to 1855, most of which is still perfectly intact and genuinely fascinating to walk around. The original area is arranged more like a public park or garden with intertwined pathways meandering through grassland and trees it's almost unchanged from 1855 and is on the register of historic parks and gardens of special historic interest in England. The cemetery also contains a grade two listed war memorial containing the names of 34 men, there's a total of 342 war graves scattered throughout; however, there's a small area of 40 war graves around a cross, some of the graves are Italian and German. Sounds odd, but it's nice to have a walk around the older area, super peaceful and quiet, it's hard to believe you're surrounded by roads and houses.

I'm not happy as too why there are so many different rules for the cemetery with the size of the plots and the Muslims have the nicest area and we can't even have a full 6ft to make our plots look good ,what is going on Derby council
