SELLERS BEWARE - AVOID THIS COMPANY We agreed the price and completed all the paperwork at their office on Saturday 14th Jan. Instead of receiving the payment on Monday 16th, we received a phone call saying the price had been reduced by over 8k. We are unable to fetch the car back as the DVLA have notified us that they have already transferred the ownership so our insurance is cancelled. When we finally got to speak to the "Area Manager" we were promised this would be sorted out today. We are still waiting. This matter has now been reported to the police and it looks like we are going to have to take legal action to get this resolved. We are also aware of an Investigation and Ruling for this company by the Office of Fair Trading dated March 2011 for Unfair Trading Practices resulting in the Directors had to sign undertakings to address similar and other concerns. We are aware from other reviews of people having similar problems so will post further updates of how things progress. UPDATE OF 18/1/2023 My husband was contacted this morning by Jodie who was very understanding, listened to what he had to say and took ownership of the issues raised. The problem was satisfactorily resolved within a few hours which was a huge relief. We did promise to remove this 1 star review but as it has not been possible to do this, we have added this update and increased the star rating on the review from 1 to 3. Thank you for sorting this mess out so efficiently Jodie. You are a credit to your company.
