Me and my fianc popped to derby for a bit of shopping, we headed straight for Harpers for their small breakfast, 6 items, we then sat down and shortly after we sat down we all got evacuated from the shopping centre due to a fire, the manager approached us whilst we were waiting outside and said that once the shopping centre reopens come back and get a replacement meal. Unfortunately the breakfast had finished by the time we were allowed back in but he let us have a meal from the main menu and he apologised to us, which wasnt his fault. We will definitely be coming back, the food is tasty, we both had a cheese and potato pie with vegetables, it was full of flavour. I cant recommend this place enough.

We went shopping @ Derbion with our teenage grand-daughter over the Easter Hols. We had a terrible experience at Zizzi's so walked over to Harpers. As soon as we arrived at the counter a member of staff, who was busy filling up the veggies acknowledged us and said someone would be with us in a minute. A very polite, smiling member of staff came over and explained the menu and allowed us time make our choice. The veggies looked very tasty. We had sausage and mash and cheese and onion pie. It was delicious and hot. A very reasonably priced lunch served with a smile. What a refreshing change. I'll certainly visit Harpers again. Well done Team. You're a credit to the business.

Good quick service. Had the cottage pie it were lovely BUT please please learn to cook the veg. No on wants to eat veg that tastes like its just been pulled out of the ground and washed without touching any heat!!! Would have been 5 stars otherwise.
