Friendly and helpful staff. The showroom is small. The store is primarily meant for trades contractors we assumed so that would account for the smallish showroom. We went there for ideas.

The wrong counter top was supplied with my kitchen. The store then refused to replace it telling me (in writing) that what was shown in the showroom design process was for, quote - "illustrative purposes only". So why bother with a showroom at all? This was an an expensive quartz counter and my kitchen looks nothing like what I ordered. I was subsequently informed that it was entirely my fault. I even called the store to double check that the counter top name "white quartz" was the one I saw in store, because that name DOES NOT EXIST in their brochure (variants of it do). I was just fobbed off after spending 12k on a kitchen. I have no problem with the staff at this branch, but their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. On the "Howdens kitchens complaints" Facebook group, this appears to be a common problem. However, it seems other people have had their counters replaced. This store will not, for some reason, replace mine. Howdens will deny this happened or blame me below, I'm sure. Read on to see my prediction come true...
