First and most likely last experience with Papa Johns. Made online order at 4:48pm. I called up the shop an hour later as the order tracker said pizza was still in checking and cutting stage and was told that pizza was ready and they were waiting for delivery driver to pick it up. Waited another 20 mins and called up and they said it was just picked up. Finally got the order at 6.40pm. Almost 2 hours!! And pizzas were cold and hard when they arrived

The pizza is nice but nothing special compared to numerous other pizza places now offering takeout. I've Never had a pizza thats too greasy or soggy but for the prices these places charge I should hope not. I don't know when take out pizza suddenly became the most expensive take out and when I consider what I get its no wonder this is often ONLY eaten as a special occasion. Even with the 50% off, buy one get one free, large for price of medium, free dessert with large, family pizza deals this still cost over 50 quid for 4 people. (Admittedly I enjoy the fact often there is left overs for the cold pizza breakfast the next day). All that said I have to admit that papa John's is very reliable when it comes to getting orders right and always provide good quality tasty pizza. So if I had to spend the 50 quid plus I prefer doing it here than many of the other high Street pizza shops.
