High laning camp was lovely and peaceful well worth a visit. Showers were 20p or 50p if you had a child. Lovely views of the dales. Just a pity while there we had a campervan park next to us, who had 2 Jack Russell's, they were letting them out to do there duty and not picking it up, so it was a mine field to sort our water container out. But can't fault the site. Definitely going again. Roads only single roads with pacing places, and with a landrover and caravan they were a bit tight in places.

Me and my partner and 2 grandchildren arrived to the site which looks a nice location but no one was there to grett us so we took it on ourself to find an area with hook up to pitch with a nice view grass standing not hard standing which we had booked. a little time after we had set up ie awning wind bracker and hook up the owner turned up and said how you going to get off hear i didn't understand what she meant bearing in mind we had just drove a cross the grass she said it might rain and I do not want my grass ruined so if your wheel spins you must come and see me ameditly it made us feel so un welcome if we hadn't off drove all this way and set up we would have left. So in the morning we decided to leave. We had paid for 3 nights at 37 a night well over priced so asked for a refund for the remaining 2 nights and went to the shop and explained how the owner was so rude and wanted to leave and asked for refund for the 2 remaining nights they said you will have to speak to Margaret ie the horrible women we had already experienced. So we did and on my life she said no chance unless some has died our you need an ambulance you are not getting a refund. Stay well away disgusting behaviour I think her attitude is if you don't like it p--- off. Ie your trapped hear nothing about. 15 for 2 bacon butties unbelievable. Will be reporting hear to the caravan and camping club.
