Axons customer care is excellent. You can always speak to a real person who will happily answer your questions. Nothing is too much trouble! The speed of response is great and I like that you can connect with them on email, live chat, social media and phone. Really helpful !

EDITED: Fault finally solved - bike was delivered having been put together with no lubricant, and therefore was faulting as no lubricant on rear hub. Ive given 3*s (I was torn between 2&3) because the fault isnt with the bike, but with the delivery of the bike that wasnt ready to ride, as is marketed. Because of this, I nearly had two dangerous accidents. It also took a very long time to resolve. I cant move past this. Once reviews went up, it was sorted - but Im disappointed it took so long and the initial contact with customer services was very poor. After the 1* reviews, it got better- the bike was collected and I had a curtesy bike that was great. In the end of the day, I had spent hours fixing it - so I resolved the issue. Ultimately - I shouldnt have had to do any of this- and it shouldnt have taken months to resolve. Original review : Chain tensioner fault for months. Customer services blamed me(!) Bike is less than 6months old. They came to check it, claimed it was fine, but it comes off every time I ride the bike more than 15 minutes. Put my foot down when the tensioner (again) came off leading to the chain cross threading the rear hub leading to whole bike seizing and spinning 180 degrees, nearly hitting a pedestrian. Could have been fatal accident if happened whilst riding in traffic. Claimed I just need to keep the bike clean. Couldnt tell you how fuming I am. 1710 is a joke. Death trap. Customer services ignoring me. Sending in formal complaint and will take ALL THE WAY. To ombundsman if I have to. People need to know its dangerous. I bought direct from Axonrides
