Lucy Long Photography

Lucy photographed our wedding on October 10th 2020. We had postponed our wedding once before and decided we were going ahead with 15 guests. Lucy was amazing and so kind throughout. She sent thoughtful emails every time new restrictions were announced and the communication was just excellent. We first met Lucy at our engagement/pre wedding shoot and she was a breath of fresh air. Very chilled, so friendly and made us feel relaxed! She was also amazing with our one year old son. The photos from that shoot were incredible. On our wedding day, Lucy was brilliant! She captured all the moments that had passed us by in a blur perfectly. The photos are absolutely stunning!

Lucy Long captured our wedding day effortlessly. The photos are soft, beautiful and just what we wanted. Lucy arrived early, she was very friendly, polite and professional. What makes a good photographer is being able to capture the photos while going unnoticed which is exactly what Lucy did. We would highly recommend her to anyone! Thank you again!

I approached Lucy to take some photographs of our newborn earlier in 2020, not knowing we'd find ourselves in another lockdown when our son arrived in November. I was so upset not to have the tiny photos you see others having. However, Lucy made sure to photograph us as soon as possible, when restrictions allowed and I am absolutely over the moon with the results. We have some absolutely beautiful, natural photographs as a family which we will treasure forever - she even managed to get some lovely shots of our dog who was quite distracted by the surrounding park and her little brother. I can't thank Lucy enough for her patience and kind attention in photographing my family - would highly recommend to anyone. Her manner is so calm, friendly and professional and her style is natural, capturing genuine moments in time - exactly what you want for a special milestone. We are completely in love with our photos and what's more, Lucy got them back to us in time to share with our family (who haven't been able to meet our precious baby) for Christmas, which meant the world to us.

Lucy was our photographer for our wedding in August 2019 and also photographed our engagement shoot in March 2019 and we would highly recommend her! One of the ways we chose our suppliers was by the relationship we built with them and how efficient they were - Lucy was always prompt at replying to emails and when we first met her it felt like we were chatting with a friend. During our engagement shoot, we had every possible type of weather you could imagine - rain, sleet, wind and sun. Lucy was so professional and it didnt even phase her. The photos were amazing and we knew that we had definitely made the right choice for the big day. Throughout the wedding day, Lucy made everyone feel so comfortable and the majority of the time it didnt even feel like she was there. The photos that she captured were completely natural which is exactly what we wanted. A lot of people advised us on getting a videographer to capture every moment of the day but were so glad that we didnt because Lucy did all of that through her photos. The package that we chose from Lucy was a very reasonable price, in comparison to other photographers, and she was very accommodating in recommending what package to go for to fit into our budget and also give us what we were looking for. We received both the engagement photos and the wedding photos much quicker than we expected and receiving our USB in the post in a beautiful box with some little added extras was such a wonderful surprise.
