Oakley Hall Hotel

Went here to celebrate a friends wedding then decided to stay for the night. A beautiful hotel. Lovely garden. Definitely good breakfast place - love the choices for breakfast. Our room looks like a loft. A double bed upstairs and a set up bed downstairs. Spacious bathroom - separated bath tub and a shower. Love the room. However, I noticed theres not much hotel room toiletries. We got a room slippers and a plastic shower cap. Since we just decided to stay for the night we did not bring anything aside from ourselves and the clothes were wearing. Theres no toothbrushes, paste and other else that I feel is a necessity. For the price that you pay I think it should at least be included.

Very nice lunch in Glasshouse restaurant. Only downside is waiting staff did not refill wine glasses until asked. This could have been automatic if an empty glass is seen. Food & drinks: Food and drinks were very good

So, what's not to like? I've just been to lunch time diner at the Oakley Hall Hotel and it was wonderful.- really, I can't fault it. Impeccable service from the staff who did not 'hover' over you, yet were attentive. Comfortable seating in an airy room with subtle decor, to please the eye. For the price I thought this was a very good and we came away very pleased. I would definitely go there again. The gardens looked great - I wish I were staying there as well!
