Very professional service .
All needs met.
Clean rooms
Only down side was the really high bathroom sink , I had to stand on top toes to use it .
Nice towels and soap selection of you didn't bring your own .
Lovely quirky touches .
Fresh milk and water in room fridge .
Coffee machine and good selection of teas, hot chocolate etc .
Breakfast really lovely .
Garden beautiful.
BBQ shack amazing... although we didn't use it .. we would definitely next time !
Lovely art on the walls .
Would make an amazing place for a group booking.
Close to all amenities.
Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.

My wife and I had a great experience at the Art Lounge whilst visiting the Lake District for a 2 day trip. Eileen and her husband were simply fantastic. We arrived late at night close to midnight. Not only she was awake for us, she also made sandwiches as we were hungry. That courtesy itself was out of this world. I mean who will do that for you? may be your own mother but no one else.
The room we stayed was with Mucha theme. Everything was so amazing. Breakfast was fresh and tasty with so many options. All rooms are individually themed and beautifully decorated. The hut in the garden was lovely to sit in and enjoy the weather of lake district.
She went out of her way to accommodate us in every respect. She filled us water bottled for the road, etc. just to name few things...her kindness was simply amazing.
Although this place is a bit far off from Windermere but worth to stay. Decorations are artfully done. Every details is take care. In short I will certainly recommend the lovely place to everyone traveller who want to enjoy a great B&B experience in the lake district area.
