We were very pleased to recognise the depth of personal caring and support that Ami Court offers. Our elderly friend was weak and vulnerable. He had been discharged from hospital, but he needed a great deal of skilful care. He was very happy with his experience at Ami Court where he was appreciated and respected. He got back his sense of humour and began to eat a special diet again, slowly but encouragingly. Ami Court gave us all a fresh ray of hope. We were so grateful to them; we only met warm and caring professionals.

We were so relieved to find Ami Court who cared for our father in his last few weeks of life, the team definitely went over and above in taking the best care of not only him, but the wishes of the family too. We'd had a terrible experience with another care home and were extremely caution when selecting an alternative, however as soon as I spoke with the Manager at Ami Court my mind was put at ease and especially upon visiting saw that she is as hands-on as her staff yet always having time to talk with family. Dad had suffered several strokes and had started to decline rapidly after weeks of being in hospital and our other awful care home experience. Within a couple of days of arriving at Ami Court we saw our father change from looking fraught and not eating to finally looking at ease again. With their encouragement he had started to eat again, was hoisted out of bed everyday, always showered and dressed in clean clothes (something the previous home couldn't seem to manage), and especially treated with dignity and respect, dad had even regained some of his humour. We knew we were losing our father, so are very grateful to all at Ami for making the time as easy as possible for all the family.
