Had the best experience today wandering into The Strand Wine Company! We were browsing for a wine to enjoy on our Saturday night in. A lady asked if wed like any help, and was so friendly and knowledgeable. She completely understood what we were after, explained what we should look for when searching for a wine to our taste! Also what we may like to try next time if wed like slightly sweeter or dryer. We opened the bottle, and its absolutely divine! Amazing selection of beers also!! Will certainly be returning!! (Just to add, weve had a real mix bag of experiences from wine retailers, here they are not condescending what so ever, not up selling out of reason! Ive been in hospitality and retail for a long time, the lady here, has got it spot on! Definitely new and loyal customers! Couldnt recommend more!)
