Very good dentist, one of my children who has special needs is extremely sensitive to noise and light, they are always very accommodating of his needs and patient. I have always felt valued as an NHS patient too, previously I was with a dentist that really seemed to resent their NHS patients and there is a huge difference here. The reason I knocked off one star is I requested and made sure I had written in my notes they hold, that I prefer contact such as appointment reminders in writing, and where possible I prefer to make appointments in person as I have auditory processing disorder and can barely hear and understand them when they call. I have also said that if they absolutely must call, to call at any time other than school run time as this is unsuitable. These requests are frequently ignored and when it is around the time to make an appointment, I am bombarded with calls from them at school run time, and this was the case pre covid as well.

Avoid the hassle. I had an appointment booked for April, it got cancelled due to the dentist being sick. Absolutely fine, I rescheduled my appointment for June. ( As I am a teacher and have to do everything in the holidays). I then got a call from the receptionist saying that I actually couldn't book that far in advance and that I needed to call back at the end of May to book. I explained that this was the only day I could do etc. She said it would be fine they would have a place for me. I call back on the 20th May and am told that there are no available appointments on the day I had wanted to book. I didn't even get an apology or even any effort to try to book me in. I was told that other people had booked in advance!!! Worst customer service. Bright side is I have found another friendly and local dentist to go to instead.
