Food was okay, but service was super slow, staff being confused, they were forgetting things. Took them at least 30 minutes to bring juice, then forgot water. And place was not too full.

My friend and I decided to do a bakery crawl on a Saturday morning and this was our second stop where we had brunch at 10am. I was surprised to see an almost empty caf as I had expected it to be fully seated already but so glad that wasn't the case. Waitresses were very friendly, gave us some menus and gave us a spacious table. We both went for the blueberry pancakes with bacon, maple syrup and granola and I ordered a cappuccino on the side. The pancakes were absolutely lovely, thick and fluffy and it came in a stack of 4! For the price of 8.50 this portion was completely insane, not to mention the quality of it! I really enjoyed them, especially the granola which added a nice crunch to the texture. Coffee was big, nice and strong - just how I like it! In total, I only paid 11.30 which was just fantastic value for East London! I would recommend coming here between 9-10:30am on the weekend, as it got so busy after that time window suddenly. But then people do leave pretty quickly after finishing their food. By 11:30am it was back up to 50% full then. I really liked this caf and would definitely come back and try the savoury options on the menu next time.
