Obiter Architecture

We worked with Obiter Architecture on a project that comprised internal refurbishment, side and rear extension of a four-storey high building. The building is on Upper Street and part of the conservation area, consisting of a retail shop and three flats above. Obiter Architecture approached the project professionally, successfully communicating with all the parties involved, responding to their individual brief yet bringing it all together as one project which was needed for planning. The studio offered good advice on space planning, thorough understanding of the local context and planning regulations. We took the project to planning stage and should we continue developing the project, wed like Obiter Architecture to get involved till its execution.

It has been a real pleasure to have worked with Dado (Adnan Celikovic) on the whole house renovation of my family home. This was the first time I have had need for a professional architect and I can wholeheartedly say it has been a very worthwhile and productive endeavour. Orbiter architecture had come well recommended and for good reason. Dado is a kind, thoughtful and diligent person with a very professional and creative approach to his craft. I have been ever so pleased with the result. Dado has a wonderful knowledge of materials and is very creative in the way he utilises space to produce, in our case, a wonderfully functional yet very modern family home. We absolutely love our flat! Dado's creative and playful use of space, as well as his attention to materials used, made our home a bright, serene, and beautiful place to live in. The twist in functionality of space keeps delighting us, and we feel that everything is just in the right place - our kitchen serves as a perfect example of this. We are very appreciative of Dado's understanding of our needs and aesthetics, and thankful for his patience and resourcefullness to push and pull to get the most with the given budget.
