        I bought two small batches of pinks some weeks ago and they are all doing really well. Some of them are trying to flower already!

        Ive bought plugs from Whetmans for quite a few years and always been happy with the quality and resulting flower's. Bought 6 plugs again this year but they arrived in a terrible state. Contacted them and they were replaced without any fuss. The 6 they were replaced with arrived quite dry but SLIGHTLY better looking. I did as ive done before and sat them in a little water for 15 minutes until moist, planted them up in my usual good compost with added horticultural grit. Out of the 6, 1 died within a few days, at the end of a week after receiving them they were all dead. I contacted Whetmans with photographs and was told the plugs were fine when they left them! 15 spent and no plants so im more than a little annoyed at their attitude. Postal times are not my fault. Will not be giving them any more of my money. Customer service has seriously disappeared.
