We have had this plumber do work for us on several occasions. He arrives on time, is always polite and friendly, and very thorough.

Used this chap for a few plumbing jobs and was quite happy. Asked if he refitted bathrooms too and he said he did. What a mistake. A couple of times he did not turn up when arranged and, when I took exception to this and also to the shoddy workmanship, was told I should be grateful to have such a highly skilled plumber doing this job for me. I was also informed that he was working on a job that was going to pay him 3 times that of my job! Was extremely rude and wouldn't accept any responsibility for this tardiness or his dreadful workmanship. The tiles are not lined up and have not been cut with a tile cutter and so are uneven around the edges, no sheath on the shower pipework, the cill put on the window doesn't fit, the bath panel is split, the grout is different colours, the towel rail is too narrow for the pipes to be fit - I could go on. The workman brought in to fix this mess is amazed at the awful standard of work. I am thankful that I did not allow this man to finish the bathroom or start work on a new gas fire as arranged - I dread to think how much this would have cost me to correct. Steer clear.
