Following a high recommendation, went today. I have never had such a thorough eye test ever. Very welcoming, and was not handed to another with a trained brief to sell glasses. Cannot recommend any other optician as this very interesting and patient optician, explains everything. Excellent.

I was fed up with carrying around several pairs of glasses as I couldn't get on with varifocals, tried twice at a different optition who I had lost confidence with. Barton Eyecare have been brilliant, patient, kind and they gave me the confidence to have another go - I now have one pair of glasses that I wear everyday and a pair for when I am doing lots of work on my computer at work. This has made a huge difference to me. They were very thorough, I didn't feel at all rushed, everything was explained. Laura helped me pick a pair of glasses that suited me. Everyone is so friendly and kind, and they gave me good advice to help me get used to my new glasses. The whole family will be coming here now. Thank you all at Barton.I will continue to reccommend you.

I was recommended to go here after a few poor experiences. What can I say, what a great team, he really took time and asked me questions and gave me answers that even NHS didnt about being recently diagnosed with diabetes and the effects it can have on your eyes. Was no pressure to buy glasses from them, and repaired my reading glasses for a quid. Unbelievable service and I will be recommending to everyone I know. Might seem a lot to say about just an eye test, but they deserve a great review. Well done

I contacted Barton Eyecare to book an eye test and was given an appointment just a few days later. I met with Sally who was extremely friendly and very thorough in her explanations throughout the exam. She took her time to go into detail at each stage of the exam and gave me advice with regards to how to proceed now as well as what I can expect from my sight in the future. Following the exam I met Laura who assisted me in choosing some glasses; although made it very clear that there was no pressure to buy. She explained what I should be looking for in terms of the dimensions of the glasses in order to find the perfect fit, and gave me her professional opinion with regards to what, aesthetically, looked best. Again, Laura was very friendly and patient while I tried on various different pairs of glasses! Overall, a very enjoyable experience - I would 100% recommend! Excellent customer service and staff that are truly as asset to the business!
