Richard Toomer - Wedding Violinist and Pianist

We booked Richard to play during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and he truly created magic. Several of our guests were brought to tears due to all the emotions the music evoked. This was honestly the highlight point of the wedding, as it enhanced every emotion and moment. I could not be happier and more grateful. Richard is an outstanding professional and his song choices were excellent. He was also very flexible and for instance kept playing the song even after it officially ended, to accompany me all the way until I was done walking down the aisle. Richard had people singing and even dancing at some point with some of the more upbeat songs, and he had guests crying with more emotional slower songs. He really brought life to the event, could not recommend more.

Richard is an absolute gem! He played for us on our vow renewal. I have made several requests for which he played flawlessly for us. Music has been an important part of me and my husband's relationship, so it is imperative that we incude this in the whole event. In a short span of time, Richard had to learn to play a popular Filipino Song (Minsan Lang Kita IIbigin) as my entrance song, and he smashed it! I guess there's nothing really difficult for a talented and professional musician like Richard. Communication was absolutely brilliant. He has got his own set-up, complete with speakers and amplifiers, which are top notch. We are really over the moon that he was able to play for us. Everyone had a lovely time listening to him play.

We asked Richard and Lucy to play at our wedding ceremony and reception on August 1st. Email and communication with Richard was easy and he was very accommodating to our questions and requests, and helped us decide on when we would like them playing. Once we had chosen our pieces from Richards wide repertoire (this was a challenge as there were so many pieces we liked and wanted played!) Richard and Lucy played them perfectly, enhancing the atmosphere of the day and making it extra special! They even matched the colour scheme of our wedding by chance! Thank you both for making our day amazing! We would highly recommend Richard if you need live music playing at your wedding or event!
