        I am not one to write reviews but felt this time, it was necessary. I went into this branch of boots today 22/12/21 to buy a facial wash, and upon entry it has a hand sanitiser which implicitly asks you to use. I went ahead and applied the hand sanitiser, and as I was rubbing it in, decided to look at products, as there was a queue anyway to see the pharmacist. The woman working there came over and asked what I was doing and said that I am not allowed to use their products. I was confused but realised that she was suggesting that what I was rubbing into my hands was their products from the shelf. I reassured her that I was just using hand sanitiser, and she clearly did not believe me as she proceeded to check the items on the shelf, then remarked 'they are empty anyway, you can't use these.' The implication is that I was stealing their products and using them without purchasing. I am not sure if it was the way I look or was dressed, but I did not appreciate the prejudice and implication that I was thieving. Rude and disrespectful customer service, so I won't be gracing them with my presence again.
