Pesto

Visited today for my nieces birthday. There was 5 people in our party. When we asked for a table for 5 the girl on the front desk said they didnt have any a availability for 5 people, which fair enough it was a bank holiday and they were busy but she didnt offer any solution just stood looking at us. So as it was my nieces favourite place to eat we asked if we could put 2 tables together but she said no they were under staffed for that. So instead we asked if we could have 2 tables then instead and have 2 on one and 3 on the other. She gave us a look that could kill and said yes she could do that but we would be sat on either sides of the restaurant as she didnt have 2 together. We agreed to this but on allocation of our tables there was 2 empty tables which seated 4 next to us. She then put the 2 couples behind us on them tables. Didnt fill the tables with part of four!! Why she couldnt have put the rest of our party on them tables is beyond me. It appeared she was just being awkward. The food was lovely as always and the guy serving us couldnt have been more helpful. Just a shame the girl allocating the tables was so rude. Really put a dampener on our visit and not sure we will be going back. Dietary restrictions: There are plenty of Gluten free options
