Treworra Barton Cottages

we have just returned from a week in the round house. 6 adults, 3 couples and one Cockapoo. The accommodation was perfect. Ethan and Emma were very friendly and welcoming. The cream tea on arrival was the best we had during our stay. My self and my husband used the downstairs twin room and ground floor shower room as my husband had a knee replacement 6 weeks before our visit and this allowed us to avoid the stairs. Our adult kids and their partners had the upstairs double rooms. One of the doubles has its own en-suite. The upstairs family bathroom was then used by the third couple meaning we didnt have to share. There is also a fourth bedroom a twin bed upstairs. The location is green and lush, with a short walk up the drive to the Davidstow moor. You can feed Gavin and Stacey the pigs and the Sheep. Sit by the wood burner in the evening or enjoy a game pool in the communal games room. The Owls calling at night in the woods and stars so bright with no light pollution. You can then visit all Cornwall has to offer or just relax and enjoy the farm. Our adventures went climbing, surfing and exploring. Our comfort seekers went shopping, sightseeing and enjoyed cafes, restaurants and galleries. We did some gentle walking and made use of the excellent kitchen to make meals for the others when they returned. If you prefer to eat out or takeout the wainhouse 10min away had excellent food and Camelford has excellent fish and chips. The refurbishment of the accommodation over this winter can only add to the experience.
