Walked into the shop at 4.55pm, was told they were shut! I said it was not 5.00pm yet but told he was going to lock up he had somewhere to go. No Appology. Not good customer service!!

I cannot thank Dave enough for the help he gave me with my dodgy electronic car key yesterday (31.10.22). This really is a great place and the staff are always friendly and extremely helpful. 10/10 guys!

Dropped my watch in for a new battery and said Id pop back. Checked Timpson website for closing time which was 17:30. Popped back in at 17:05 to collect my watch and was aggressively informed that shop was shut and tills were switched off at 17:00. I mentioned Id checked online and then the staff member (I have his name but despite his actions dont feel it fair to post here) launched into a lecture about Google advertising the wrong times (it wasnt Google it was Timpson) and that he supposed that was his fault). He was cross, aggressive and lacked any customer service skills. I asked for his name and for my watch back. I said please remove the battery if you cant let me pay for it . He then actually did sit there and take the battery out and give me the watch. I said I was upset and that he shouldnt speak to me the way he did as I was the customer .. he replied so what, do you think that makes you special? Youre not special, You should respect me too) I hadnt raised my voice, he was shouting at me ! I honestly couldnt get my breath !! There was 10 ways he could have dealt with this that would have left me feeling better and I cant remember everything he actually said but I was shocked So I now still have no watch battery and feel like I was verbally attacked !
