        I am new to the area and this is my closest pub. I was nervous about visiting on my own but I had a friend staying this weekend so we booked a table. You exceeded my expectations for quality of food and service and the atmosphere was welcoming enough that I will feel able to visit on my own.

        I came here a couple years ago when I first moved to daventry and I was pregnant and I ate a meal and it had a cockroach in it I threw up had the worst experience ever and I swore I would never eat here again I saw it was under new management and I started coming back with my family and eating small things and I decided to bring my parents and my family for a Sunday lunch and I will say the new management is amazing and the food was absolutely beautiful and I will definitely be returning xxxx
