I think some of the reviews for this place are based on old management. Sarah took me through my appointment, the first one Id ever had trying on dresses and she was so attentive. Sarah also didnt push and gave great advice. The pricing of the dresses is really reasonable, would definitely recommend visiting.

I was in the store on 18 January and Gill was most helpful with showing me dresses and giving advice. In the end I have bought a dress somewhere else but she really made the experience very pleasant so I would definitely recommend brides to visit this store. They have a great choice with very reasonable prices.

Highly recommend all brides in the area to go to Supernova early in your dress shopping!! The store is under new management for the past year and the owner Sarah is incredible at her job!!! I went in thinking I had already found my dress and was doing a few more stores to check/include my parents in the process. We were made very welcome, only one bride at a time (appointment only) and easy parking over the road in Avenue car park (free for an hour and only 50p for 2 hours with an advantage card). Sarah explained how the dresses were organised with new (order in) on the right in dress type order and then almost as many off the peg sale items on the left at incredible prices, best sale range and prices I've seen in the 5 shops I've visited and a must see for those on a tighter budget. We picked quite a few to try, a mix of both new and samples. Sarah was so easy to chat to whilst trying these on, she's very passionate about helping people find the right dress for them and very experienced in what works for you/ accessories/ adjustments wise. Whilst the dresses we tried were lovely it wasn't pulling all together for me, Sarah had been listening to all my feedback and sneaked in a wild card dress that we hadn't spotted that ticked boxes I didn't even know I had, add in a beautiful belt and head piece that she recommended and I was suddenly in a dilemma on what to do! We were given so much time to look and discuss our thoughts with no pressure, moving about in the store for different light and mirrors, then a fantastic offer was made for the package if I bought that specific dress (instead of ordering in)! Sarah encouraged us to go back to the shop with the other dress I liked saying she would hold the dress for the weekend and assured me I would know what to do when I tried the other on and she was so right I realised her dress was the one!!! We were fitted back in the next day even though they're so busy, we had a wonderful time trying on the dress again and trying more and different accessories and taking pictures and even a video!!! Supernova will store my dress and are putting me in touch with their seamstress too. Longest review I've ever done but am so grateful and excited and hope other brides also find their dress in this lovely store x
