        I came here directly after visiting nearby Down House; home of Charles Darwin. Although Darwin was agnostic, his wife was devout and members of his family (including his wife, brother and some of his children) are buried in the churchyard.

        A lovely little church nestled in beautiful Downe, home of Charles Darwin. There is free on road parking nearby but not a lot. The ancient yew tree in the churchyard is well worth the visit alone. Completely hollow and split into two parts it is quite a sight.
