Yoga in the Garden Exeter
We have just had the most wonderful experience in a truly beautiful part of the world. My husband and I were utterly spoilt by our entertaining host Mary. We were welcomed into the idyllic family home straight away with tea and cake, meeting Twiglet (who I tried to smuggle home) and the horses. A little "tester" ride was the perfect way to get our bearings and find the local pub. Dartmoor is magical but Wydemeet is in such a fantastic location, we were able to explore two completely different landscapes on our rides over the next two days. The horses are accomplished and fit hunters and knew the terrain, so we were able to put total trust in them and enjoy the ride. Julie, our guide was equally friendly, yet so knowledgeable about all things equestrian and the local area. The pubs we visited for lunch were traditional dartmoor inns, full of legend and mystery and good beer and food to boot. Mary's breakfasts are colourful and delicious (particularly liked the homemade jam) and you certainly won't go hungry at supper time either. Yes, this isn't a cheap break but some things are worth paying for and I'm glad I bit the bullet and booked. We are already looking forward to visiting again!
