Pub 10/10 Beer 10/10 Food (we had vegetarian roast) 1000/10 Music (man on guitar, lady on vocals) 20/10 Ambience 100/10 Friendly staff 1000/10 We had a top night here, the food was absolutely outstanding and the staff and music added to the brilliance. We stayed the night and the room was lovely too, the breakfast in the morning was outstanding, so many options and again, super friendly helpful staff. Top marks, would heartily recommend and will definitely be returning!

Rooms: Comfortable, clean, good shower room, old world eves and thatched roof over the window. Charming Food & drinks: Very good cooking using local produce. Responsive to the need to feed a tired child quickly but well

This is how a pub should be run. Terrific food, varied menu with generous portions, well kept local beers,welcoming host and great atmosphere. We didn't stay there, so cannot comment on the rooms. Music was playing and the fire was light. All in all very impressive. Only four stars for the location because the car park was a bit of a challenge. Booking recommended.
