Puddavine Court

Puddivine is a 'don't care' home, quite the worst experience anyone could imagine. My mother's room was not equipped for an elderly person with limited mobility. There were no grab rails anywhere, the table was broken and we had to request a toilet seat that was stable. One tiny thin fleece blanket and no sheet or duvet. Despite having a broken back and being in excruciating pain, my mother was expected to sit up for meals and was left in a chair for what seemed to her an eternity as there was no staff available to take her back to bed. Each room has a buzzer to summon staff but she was regularly left waiting for up to an hour or more for assistance. There was also never anyone manning the reception desk whenever I visited and you need a code to get out! The staff are very mediocre and the Manager not up to the job. The grounds are very well kept but we never saw any of the residents being taken outside to enjoy them. I would not wish this experience on anyone.
