James is a fantastic teacher. My son has been learning to play the drums with him for about 4 years and he has achieved distinctions in both of his grade exams. In other areas of learning, my son can struggle sometimes but James has a way of making him feel at ease. He is very patient and calm.

James very kindly offered free drum lessons to children of NHS staff during the peak of the Covid pandemic & contacted me to offer this service. Both of my children benefitted greatly & continued to have lessons with James following lock down. James is professional and has a great set up for teaching remotely. Most importantly he has a great way of engaging my 2 boys aged 12 and 9, and they have clearly developed their drumming skills & grown to love playing. James has also provided advice regarding equipment purchases from reputable providers. Jame / James business is highly recommended.

James is a brilliant tutor. Being slightly nervous to start the drums in adulthood, he put me at ease straight away and I knew after my first lesson that I wanted to continue. He is patient and knowledgeable and makes every lesson great fun! I would definitely recommend James for all age groups, from beginners through to those looking to move into becoming a professional drummer.
