Hopefully on Tuesday 17th December, a legal document will be agreed with Darlington Town Hall Housing Department for a flat which I have accepted at Rockwell House. I am 82 and need to get to. Darlington Memorial Hospital for Cancer Therapy instead of travelling from Wheatley Hill to North Teeside, Hartlepool and James Cook Hospital. This place is fantastic for elderly people, who may not be physically ill but vulnerable due to becoming elderly. They like myself may not be capable of doing things that they could do when they were younger. Meeting other people instead of living on my own is of tremendous value to me. We are looked after by Leslie who is a very friendly Darlington Housing Officer
