I called in today after work to buy some things so I didnt have to go into town. The staff totally ignored me. I stood there for what seemed like an eternity (probably only ten mins) listening to them b** on about someone getting a new job in a different pharmacy and talking about how she had been round just about every one in Darlington, and making nasty comments. Just as I thought they finally were going to acknowledge my presence at the counter, the male bent down and started adjusting something and called back to his female colleagues that he really needed to move this basket then walked back into the medicine section. I felt invisible! If someone has just said 3 mins while we finish this stock or Ill be right with you I would have waited. Ive worked in retail, I know its fast paced or sometimes difficult to get right to a customer, Instead I felt ignored and upset. I ended up putting my items down and I walked out. Its a simple thing but it really upset me.
