Matt is a great Personal Trainer and bootcamp instructor because he always motivates you. He is very knowledgeable, and his videos are a great way to visually understand weight loss, exercises and dieting myths. Apart from that he is good fun, so always keeps it light hearted whilst helping you to achieve your goals.

The support, information & ongoing guidance that Matt at Fortitude gives to me as part of my PT sessions is excellent. He always makes things make sense and helps me understand nutrition & the reason behind everything that we do on our journey together. I hated food as saw it as 'the enemy' but over time Matt has helped me see that I can eat what I want to, as long as it is within my daily calorie allowance without me having the fear anymore. Matt has not only given guidance & support in my PT sessions but he is always available via social media on the days that I am struggling with my nutrition or if I just need a good pep talk. I was never one for the gym but Matt has changed my perspective and shown me that anything is achievable as long as you have the focus & the tools to get there, as well as the support, which Matt gives. Never a dull session with Matt either, he's such a funny, happy chappy. Would recommend Fortitude Fitness & Nutrition to anyone without a doubt.

After attending bootcamp sessions with Matt I started working with him on 1:1 PT sessions 3 months ago. In that time I have already seen a big difference in my strength training and he has helped me work on my nutrition as well. He has taken the time to understand my training goals and is flexible and understanding with sessions to work around by changing shifts. He takes time to clearly explain all exercises to ensure good/safe form and always works to enhance what he can offer such as a recent introduction of an app to support training and nutrition. He is always happy to listen and makes sessions fun. Matt is really approachable and I would recommend him to anyone looking for PT!

I started working with Matt 6 months ago after attending his bootcamp classes, Matt has taken the time to get to know me better and understated what I want to achieve from personal training. I have gained confidence in the gym and I am doing exercises and lifting weights I never thought I would be able to do! Matt is flexible with my training programmes and takes into consideration my preferences when it comes to exercise, he also makes training a lot of fun!

Matt is very knowledgeable and made me very comfortable given i am a larger lady. he has helped me look at diet in a whole new way. I have really been enjoying my gym programme and I'm looking forward to my next course :-)
