    From Quote to finish great service. Have used for servicing for a few years now but wanted new boiler and Radiators, was a big job as gas supply pipe needed reworking through the house ( didn't want it routing outside the building) Great confidence in the plumber (Jamie) who worked incredibly hard for the 4 days it took to remove the old boiler and radiators then commission the new one. Very pleased with the quality of work and conduct while in our home! Will be using them in a years time for servicing! Service: Heating system maintenance

    Having used Blackwell Heating for a number of years without any issues and have spoke of them highly until now and aware of the many 5 star reviews that we have also posted in the past up till now . However, sadly we now have had a completely different experience and not living upto expectation from this company . Due to an on-going issue with our boiler from April 2022 and paying a hefty bill to fix it, baring in mind we have solar panels, we found the problem persisted when we started to use our boiler again later in the year for heating. We called them out again and found one of the parts fitted earlier had warped with the heat, but later that day we found the fault continued. After doing a bit of investigation of my own on-line. I called them out again to inspect a component I beleived maybe the cause of the issue and "hey presto" the part had perished, some 2 weeks on we have no longer had a repeat of the problem. I contacted Blackwells and was told I would be invoiced again, which I was not happy with and was more than happy to pay for the parts fitted, which I thought was fair, due to the on-going issue that we had paid for already, where they should have fixed without myself having to guide them. I spoke to Andrew and what a joy this guy was to speak with shouting down the phone accusing me of being aggressive to his wife and staff along with harrassment, threatening debt collection bearing in mind NO invoice had been generated at point, not to mention him rambling on about his staff, which had no bearing on my complaint as a customer stating " We are not miracle workers". Its my belief that this simple fix should have been known to Blackwell Heating and clearly was not, as the engineer that fitted the part said "we probably wouldn't have found that and was a good call on my part" I warn anyone who should ever complain to this company not to be bullied by the owner, as it seemed to me he would take offence to any customer that dared to complain!. Needless to say, we will be looking elsewhere in future if we should need a boiler repair etc. We have now settled their final invoice sent to us and yes with a discount, but still cant help feeling ive been P**** on from a great height! ------------- In response to their reply below my review was very much a genuine and honest review. What can i say about that response. Once again more false accusations from Andrew stating I had tampered with my own boiler is totally ridiculous and untrue. I had always stressed the error5 fault was intermittent and they knew this aswell as the boiler could be reset and would fire up, but would fail again that same day or the day after and got worse when stated used it more because of colder weather and could no longer reset it. I also stated we have solar panels for all our hot water needs, so the boiler was used very little during the Summer months if at all where life does go on .. There's nothing worse than a BAD company blaming their customers and the product for their own failings after they had serviced and supposedly repaired my Remerha Boiler. Regardless whether my boiler is or not "The cheapest on the market" as he states, nevertheless was after all was a very simple fix (Burner gasket). This was apparently a known issue on these boilers (E5 Service Kit), but clearly not known to this company. Once again Andrew not surprisingly trying to make a customer look bad and fabricating false accusations of continued complaining and aggression towards women etc, infact anything to rescue his ego and as ive said his companies failings! I often wondered due to Andrews lack of customer focus and bad temper that he had mistaken myself for another customer, as the only other complaint to my knowledge ive made were for parts on a previous invoice / job that were charged, but never used. One thing I am is a former time served electronics engineer, so have some savy and knowledge of diagnostics and not some general customer being clueless and being taken for a ride!. Service: Heating system maintenance
