The sales team are very good and extremely helpful. They provided us with regular updates on the build of our home, and answered any questions we had. Unfortunately that is where the good experience with Homes by Esh ended. There were many issues in our snagging list, and 8 months on we are still waiting for issues to be resolved. The communication has been dire since completion; we frequently have to wait months for an update of any kind on the issues we logged. Esh originally advised that they would resolve all issues on the snagging list within 2-4 weeks, however this was obviously untrue. I would not recommend Homes by Esh. Contrary to the claims on their website regarding high standards, quality homes and customer service they pride themselves on, we have found the exact opposite to be true.

Laura and the Sales team are brilliant. Theyre kind, attentive and very knowledgable. Liam and the site team have also been great. Weve been in nearly 4 months and are still waiting for things to be fixed that were reported when we first moved in, as well as still finding new faults/ things missing. The aggravation and stress the customer care team have put us and many other homeowners on our street through is beyond ridiculous. 3.5 months to fix a shower that we paid extra for, and a leak and ruined carpet as a result of taking weeks to replace the sealant around our only working shower have been our main issues They seem to make one rule up for one house and something different for the next when it comes to compensation though. They dont offer compensation but some people have been offered money to accept the faults made in their homes doesnt quiet add up to me. Dont get me wrong, I love our home but the service since completion day has been less than ideal.

Everything was great pre build. Laura and rest of team were very good. Then 2 weeks before we complete this is what they decided was going to be our route from garden to outside for our bins? 400 cm wide at Narrowest end with a drainpipe in that gap ! Sales Director commented " we have ballsed up" but the wall would have to remain as is ! When we asked for compensation we were told " this conversation is heading in the wrong direction" and closed the conversation down. Wall could not be moved as footpath and Road already finished and moving wall would mean the footpath would be too narrow to be adopted by Highways Agency . Sales Director refused to speak to us after this meeting and we pulled out The Sales Directors arrogance and Ego was unbelievable after his initial opening line was " I am here to help" The solutions he suggested were solutions to suit Esh and our feelings were totally disregarded My personal opinion is that I could never recommend Esh to anyone looking for a new home
