Premier Inn Darlington Town Centre hotel

As a premier Inn it's exactly what you expect. Personally I am not a fan of their breakfast. Nothing really wrong with it. It's just not any special but plenty on offer for all. Staff are friendly. Was quite confused on the parking like where 8 could and should park for dropping off suitcases. But you can drive into the multi story and enter at the back.

Clean and comfortable rooms, Great central location for shops or entertainment venues such as the hippodrome or forum. Amazing breakfast... The most varied and well cooked budget hotel breakfast we have ever had. To be fair, we have stayed in spa & hall hotels that have paled in comparison. A great stay which we highly recommend for such fantastic value.

So disappointed. I've stayed in Premier inns 100s of times as they are clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, they have clearly changed beds and rather than the usual king size bed a great mattress, they have downgraded to a standard double and a lower grade mattress. Never slept at all. As it forms a real sales tool for that chain I feel they need advise customers of this change. May mean nothing to some people but an issue for me.
