After so much conflicting advice from koi shops nd others I luckily found dean, I knew he meant business wen he wheeled in all his gear, spent 3 hours with us and identified 4 different parasites in my pond, he explained things so well and his depth of knowledge was remarkable, I rattled so many questions at him nd he gave me all the answers I needed to get over the problems weve got and whats caused them, i was falling out of love with this hobby tbh but weve a plan going forward now thanks to him, hes defo the man nd Im not asking fr advice from any other source onwards , ps he likes tea and cream cakes, I could go on with positives, give him a call, super honest and not expensive regarding he travelled 2 hours on Easter Friday to visit us

Deano travelled 3hrs each way to help us with our koi pond. We can't thank him enough. We're completely novices and he is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to us. We'd give him more than 5* if we could!

Very knowledgeable and thorough. Dean really knows his stuff. From not knowing what to do I now have a comprehensive treatment plan for my fish. I could not be happier with the service.

I also met Dean Last week, who very kindly travelled down to Leicester to aid my sick koi. The knowledge base of this guy is amazing ! and, he is very willing to share that knowledge with you, even down to using a black plastic plant name tag, so it's much easier to see the mucous sample !! after taking the scrape. He ran full pond and water tests, details of which were e mailed to me. After taking scrapes he found both Costa and flukes. Gave detailed amounts of the meds required, and when to repeat dosage. Koi now looking much happier, and continuing to improve, I thought I would have lost him. If you'r having issues you can't solve yourself ! he's your man. Many thanks again Dean much appreciated !! My water looked pristine and was testing good, but some of my most established Koi were sitting on the bottom with clamped fins. After a couple of weeks of this I had no idea what to do. I called Dean who fit me in really quickly, he was pondside in the baking sun for hours doing a full suite of water tests, catching fish to visibly inspect as well scraping. After a very thorough inspecting of the scrapes he spotted both Costia & Chilodinella. He helped me buy the right treatment online there & then, and even knew where to find it cheaper than amazon. A couple of weeks later & my fish are back in good condition. The comprehensive report that followed by email also included lots of helpful tips like where to get the best value bicarb etc. I am so grateful to Dean, he undoubtedly saved the lives of some of my most meaningful Koi. You will not regret booking him, incredible knowledge & value for money.
