1st time in the surgery for about 2 years and 1st time actually seeing a doctor since before Covid. Very good experience. Only negative being forced to wear a mask.

Have to say that on the whole I think that Moorlands provides a pretty good service. The receptionists are helpful and pleasant. The nursing staff are efficient and the Nurse Practitioner I saw recently (Rachel?) was thorough, professional and reassuring. Dr Ramos who I have had some contact with recently is very good. I think it's always important to check up on blood and test results.

Receptionists can be very rude. One well-known doctor told me to go untreated for something purely because I was asymptomatic...shockingly irresponsible to say the least. Available parking spaces was already terrible and now they've reduced them even more by constructing a temporary building for what is supposed to be more rooms for patients yet they don't seem to be using them. All surrounding streets are jam packed so this is not ideal for people who can't walk very far. Also, like many other doctors, appointments are non-existent for weeks unless you call at 8am on the day, then it's pot luck once you get through to someone after sitting for half an hour in a queue, and even then that's only IF they answer the phone.

Calling them is a waste of time as they gont answer the phone. Repeat prescription are always late. Every Wednesday, they do "training," so don't do much in term of patients. The time of appointment is always wrong even when only 2/3 patients are in there. The place looks old and rundown inside. I would change but live two streets down so the walk-in is easy with our young daughter
