        Couldnt eat the scone as it had spent so long in the microwave. I ordered a pot of tea but was told theyre not allowed to give me an extra pot with just hot water in not sure I understand this! I walked out after just one mouthful of the scone and without waiting for my two pots of tea. If Id read the reviews before I went in, I could have saved 8.50!! Avoid this place if you dont like over-nuked food!

        So strange to see so many empty seats but we where in town really early and took advantage to grab a hot drink and toastie sandwich and just enjoy the atmosphere as the festive shoppers pass by Really enjoyed the service and snack the staff are keeping the surfaces clean and tidy for the next customer

      • ordered americano, brought brown water with milk. There is no such awful americano anywhere else. When I told the Eastern nationality waiter that they had terrible coffee, he returned my money and kicked me out of the cafe. I'm shocked. Is this normal in Darlington and the UK??? Or is this how people from Ukraine are treated here?
