Burnt food as well as under cooked chicken Food completely unedible. First meal like this ever. Really really disappointed

Its a nice down to earth Chinese. I popped in for a quick something post a few beers with colleagues and ordered a Chicken Chow Mein. Huge portion delivered in just a couple of minutes - ok, not the most complicated order but still impressive. It lacked a bit of spice and bite and I would have liked some more chicken. But it is as filling and tasty and at 5.80 was decent value for money. I sat in to eat. There are a couple of stools and a low bench.

Ordered at 8:10pm and still waiting now for our food. When we tried to call the restaurant it was permanently engaged. When we got through at 10:10pm we were told the driver had set off 10 mins ago. Half an hour later no sign. Rang again 10 times and no one would pick up. We tried from a different phone and they picked up straight away so they were obviously avoiding our call. Lady said the code on Uber eats wouldnt work but offered no solution. Weve now cancelled the order but received no refund. Horrendous customer service- avoid like the plague!

Lovely food delivered a little late but when I phoned the lady got straight on the phone to the driver and minutes later the guy arrived - but they were lovely people and the food was fantastic - very hot and cooked to perfection. Felt they went the extra mile to get food as quick as they could. I recommend China Dragon as possibly the best Chinese takeaway (or Uber Delivery) place in Darlington. Will definitely use again when nearby - back home in Manchester same food would have been a fiver more and from experience nowhere near as good - wish it was my local Chinese!! Top marks to a great restaurant - keep up the good wok! ha ha!
