In 2018 I suffered permanent hearing damage in my left ear which left me with permanent tinnitus. For years Ive struggled to cope with it. Since then, Ive visited various audiologists, ENTs etc. I always got the same response theres nothing that can be done or something along these lines. In November of 2022 I suffered some sort damage to my right ear after a kiss on the opening of the ear, instantly resulted in the complete loss of hearing in that ear. The hearing came back, but I was left with a new ringing, strange overtones and distorted hearing. My mental health struggled beyond what I can explain here. I visited urgent care, my GP, audiologists. Same response as before, nothing they could do. Learn to live with it. A family member who was concerned found Nehab online. I originally shot it down, assuming Id get the same response. Due to my desperation I decided to arrange an appointment with Simon. Id like to say thank you to Simon for actually listening to me. This seems an obvious thing to say but in my experience thus far, the specialists who have seen me before have never really paid attention to what Ive told them. Simon made time to understand the problems I was going through, the tests he carried out were more thorough than anywhere else Id been. Towards the end of our initial appointment, he had me try some universal hearing aids set up to his laptop. Ive never experienced anything like this moment in my life and I still sort of cant believe what happened. I was suffering with odd frequencies, distorted hearing, and new low-pitched hum. From the hearing tests Simon had carried that evening, he set the hearing aids to replace the lost hearing and frequencies. To my surprise, this resolved the distorted sound from my right ear and the odd overtones that were present when sound entered that ear. A lovely welcome was the reduction in volume of my tinnitus. The tinnitus became so quiet that I didnt need to use my tinnitus masking app as often. Id recommend ANYONE who is struggling with hearing related issues to visit Simon. He is a truly kind, honest and knowledgeable audiologist. After years suffering, anxiety and panic he had the unique ability to get to the root of the problem within 60 minutes and changed the quality of my life immeasurably. To those who are suffering, please dont be put off by audiologists who are clearly not passionate about their work, they have no desire to help. Simon is a unique individual, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Nehab to anybody suffering with hearing related issues.

Cant thank Simon enough for fitting me in at such short notice to alleviate my vertigo symptoms. He was caring and supportive throughout my treatment as I was very anxious due to the severity of my BPPV. Simon then followed up my treatment to ensure the issue had been resolved. Very genuine and skilled practitioner.

I saw Simon about my vertigo and dizziness at a time when I was feeling very low and anxious about my symptoms. He was very patient and kind. I had the vestibular manoeuvres done in clinic and he also gave me exercises to do at home for the vertigo and breathing exercises for my anxiety. This was a few months ago and I am so much better. My dizziness has gone completely and anxiety has improved so much that I am virtually back to my.old self. I will never forget his kindness at a time that I felt very vulnerable.
