We had a great experience overall at The Shalimar. They were friendly, great host, very accommodating and it was the perfect end to our group visit of 14 at the Peak District during a busy bank holiday Sunday! Thank you!

Waited over an hour for the meal to be delivered when it arrived everything was cold , the chicken was over cooked, dry and tough, there wasnt enough sauce with the dish very stingy, and the naan bread was appalling the worst Ive had , sorry shalimar you have let yourselves down, youre not the cheapest take away meal so you need to improve if you are charging above average prices

Came for my second visit tonight with my brother & family. We all really enjoyed our meals, the portion sizes are very generous. The service was really good & we didnt feel rushed. We'll hopefully be back soon

Waited over an hour for the meal to be delivered when it arrived everything was cold , the chicken was over cooked, dry and tough, there wasnt enough sauce with the dish very stingy, and the naan bread was appalling the worst Ive had , sorry shalimar you have let yourselves down, youre not the cheapest take away meal so you need to improve if you are charging above average prices
