Shambolic care in West Lancs. District Nurses turned up to treat my 90ish year old Mother - first thing they did was to harangue her about the cost of their visits. Then they threw away the wound dressings prescribed by the the local GP, wanting to use their own. They ran out, they didn't provide any more and now turn up with not even a bandage to their name! Are we supposed to order wound dressings in from Amazon?? About 1 in 5 of the visiting Nurses appear to remember why they went into nursing and are polite, respectful, professional & effective. Clearly they are not the sort of healthcare professionals that are in vogue at Virgincare.
