Dressage competitions at The Arrow Riding Centre are extremely well run. It's an excellent venue, good size warm up with a good surface. Steward at the gate to open and shut it, take your name and keep you on time... with a 5 minute warning to when you're due in. Keeps mostly to time, no long over-running as found with a lot of venues. Friendly, helpful... they will call your test for you for a small donation to the RDA Centre which is also based there, so well worth paying - even if you don't want it called . My only criticism - and it is a relatively small one, is that you don't always get a listed judge..... but hey! This IS unaffiliated dressage and very well run at that! Highly recommended.

I never ridden here , I went to have a look because my family run this place when it was a farm in the 1950s for the Hospital / mental health institution. Just before the start of the NHS . The farm being eventually sold off to fund the fledgling NHS. It looks exactly the same. Here in picture 1 is my great uncle with his Douglas motorcycle . Owners are now Dartford Council . Riding school for people with disabilities. The Centre is entirely self funding with 10 ponies/ horses that provide vital life changing therapy to the Disabled. The impact of Arrow Riding has said that its never been so clear how much our horses help them physically and mentally.
