Helen did a great job with the birthday cake , it was exactly as the Picture she showed us , Brilliantly done , everyone who came to the party took pics of the cake , very impressed , thanks very much Helen for an amazing cake .

I had my wedding on 5th June 2021 and chose Helen to create the cake of my dreams. Helen seemed so enthusiastic about creating the cake as it was something new to her (it was a silver birch style cake) and she kept me updated every step of the way. She even went out her way to get the flowers to decorate the cake in order to bring it all together. The cake itself looked absolutely incredible! It looked so good everyone thought it was part of the decor. The flavour of the cake was incredible, such beautiful light sponge with the perfect hit of flavour - we were so happy with everything! I would 100% recommend Helen and would use her for any future cakes for birthdays/celebrations :) (our cake is the woodland themed one - please check it out on Helens Facebook page!)

I ordered two cakes through The Vanilla Bird Cake Company which I'd found on a google search. I discussed with Helen my ideas for both the cakes and Helen was very helpful explaining how she would achieve certain aspects of the designs and taking her time to go through all the flavours and options available and adding professional suggestions and advice. Her communication was fantastic throughout and the transactions easy. There was no need for any doubts as both cakes were absolutely stunning!! They looked beautiful and received several compliments. We had a rainbow sponge which I've never seen layers with so much colour and delicious taste! This was a huge hit with the children. The chocolate layer and red velvet layer were also delicious but I think my favourite has to be the Victoria sponge - it was just perfect. Helen delivered both cakes and helped me set them up. I honestly couldn't recommend her enough and will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you Helen!
