High Ridge Barn

Visited the spectacular High Ridge Barn this week, 3-10 Feb, all I can say is WOW. Comfortable, warm , superbly equipped and so welcoming - both for human and doggy guests. Rosie and Rob have certainly pulled out all the stops with their accommodation. The weather was "seasonal" but that didn't stop us getting out into the wilds of the peak district with the Roaches and Lud's Church all being well within walking distance, as well as the Wincle brewery. There is a sauna available but due to other activities this was not used Our visit felt like Christmas all over again with the whole family visiting throughout the stay

A wonderful weeks stay at a property impossible to fault. The perfect balance between being right in the middle of beautiful countryside and nature, with walks from the door onto The Roaches and to Luds Church, whilst still being near enough to the amenities of Leek and Macclesfield, should you need them. The Barn itself is beautifully furnished and equipped throughout, with everything you could need, the attention to detail apparent throughout. Rob and Rosie are perfect hosts, being on hand should you need with nothing too much trouble. Last but not least, if you are a dog owner, you and your dog will be in heaven. A large, secure garden, with multiple areas to explore, and the doggy spa, which is an absolute godsend after a long, muddy walk! Thank you again, Rosie and Rob, for a wonderful week, one of our best holidays ever.

I spent Christmas with my family at High Ridge Barn. It will be a Christmas we never forget! The location is absolutely stunning and the barn itself is so beautiful. Rosie & Rob Have thought of absolutely everything to make the stay so comfortable. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped with anything you would need. The barn was decorated for Christmas with a beautiful tree, wreath, lights and decorations throughout. Each of the rooms all extremely comfortable and each felt like an individual hotel room (but nicer!). The living area is really lovely and you can loose yourself looking out the window with the view and the constant busyness of the birds by the feeders right outside the window where we spent our time bird spotting (using the very handy bird spotting chart and book provided!). We took our toy poodle Pepper with us and she was absolutely spoilt, definitely the best place we have ever taken her (and shes a regular holiday goer!) - from the totally secure garden that she enjoyed running around, beautiful walks, to the dog bed, leads, towels, treats, Toys and even a dog grooming cabin that was provided! Its hard to even put into one review how brilliant the barn and gardens are but i couldnt recommend enough, I cant wait to go visit in the summer! Thank you, thank you, thank you for making such a lovely memory for my family spending our Christmas at High Ridge Barn!
